Mark Wiltzen joined the Board of Directors in July 2022 and is the Chair of the Governance and Environment Committee. Mark was also a member of the Audit and Risk Committee until June of 2024.
Mark is a retired finance executive and former Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of EPCOR Utilities Inc. (EPCOR), a municipally owned power and water utility. Mark was with EPCOR for 17 years and was a member of, and chaired, several key executive committees, including the Leadership Committee, the Financial Review (Investment) Committee (Chair), the Disclosure Committee (Chair), and the Risk Oversight Committee (Chair).
Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA). He completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program and holds the ICD.D designation. Mark is a graduate of Queen’s University’s Executive Development Program.
Mark currently serves on the Board of Alberta Central and is Chair of its Audit, Finance and Risk Committee. Mark also serves on the audit committees of Alberta Municipalities (AUMA) and Elk Island Public Schools.
