Bulk Water Station Officially Open

September 20, 2016

GRANDE PRAIRIE – Aquatera’s newest Bulk Water Station opened officially to the public today with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by local dignitaries and customers.

Located at 12109 97 Avenue in Grande Prairie, the facility is replacing the existing infrastructure in place at the City Service Centre in the Richmond Industrial Park.

“We listened to the feedback from our customers and knew that an upgrade was essential,” says Aquatera CEO, Bernd Manz. “This permanent location improves both accessibility and convenience for our bulk water customers.”

An increase in the number of bays and a designated “drinking water haulers only” lane will reduce wait times and increase efficiency.

A significant change for customers to note is that they will no longer be able to use coins as a form of payment. The new facility will only accept payment via credit card or authorized use by account holders.

Aquatera’s two other facilities, located in Sexsmith and on the north side of Grande Prairie will remain in operation, with no changes in service.
