Christmas Trees

Aquatera collects Christmas trees at the curb for all customers who have an Aquatera garbage cart in Grande Prairie. Those without curbside collection can bring their trees to our Landfill for no charge.

The annual tree collection will take place January 23 through to February 3. Place your tree one metre from your garbage cart on your regular collection day. It will be collected by a separate vehicle.

The trees are mulched and used at our landfill.

To ensure your tree is collected curbside:

• limit of two trees per household
• trees should not be taller than 4 feet or 1.2 metres
• only includes live trees not artificial Christmas trees
• ensure that all Christmas decorations and tinsel are removed
