Did you know that Aquatera's Eco Centre has the highest e-waste recycling collection per capita in the province? Close to 500 metric tonnes of e-waste has been collected since 2003. Way to go Grande Prairie and area!

The e-waste depot is free of charge to all residents of Alberta. This does not include fluorescent light bulbs*.
*fees apply to all non City of Grande Prairie residents and businesses.

Drop Off Fees for non Alberta residents:
- Monitors (LCD & CRT with no broken glass) $12.00 per unit
- CPU (including keyboard, mouse, cables & speakers) $10.00 per unit
- Laptops/electronic notebooks $5.00 per unit
- Desktop printer/ printer combinations $8.00 per unit

- 19" to 29" screen $25.00 per unit
- 30" to 45" screen $30.00 per unit
- 46" and larger screen $45.00 per unit

Cell Phones are accepted free of charge at the e-waste depot. For each cell phone collected, a donation of $1.00 will be made to local youth charity. However we are unable to accept bag cell phones or household phones for recycling.

Over $800 has been collected and donated to local charities though cell phone recycling.
