Eco-Centre

The Eco Centre is Grande Prairie's largest recycling depot for both residents and commercial customers. It features bins with large openings for faster unloading. Staff are available to help answer your recycling questions.
Hours of Operation:
SUMMER HOURS (April 1 to October 31)
Monday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Statutory Holidays 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
WINTER HOURS (November 1 to March 31)
Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Statutory Holidays 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
December 24 closed at 3:00 p.m.
Closed on Sundays, Dec. 25, 26, and Jan. 1

The E-waste depot will be free of charge, with the exception of fluorescent light tubes, to those who are residents of Alberta only. All non-residents will have to pay a user fee.

In addition to accepting the same materials as the other depots, the Eco Centre accepts paint, oil, vehicle batteries, propane tanks (max 3 per resident) and Household Hazardous Waste.
